Register Certificate

Register certificate is the process of applying a new certificate to the Registeration Authority (RA) with proof of identity and submit an application form. RA must verify the credentials of applicant/subscriber complying with the procedures for different Classes..

Renew Certificate

Renewing certificate is the issuance of a new certificate to the subscriber without changing the public key or any other information in the certificates.

Conditions for Renewing Certificate

The Subscriber is necessary to renew the certificate prior to the expiration of the existing certificate if the subscriber wants to extend his certificate usage.

Revoke Certificate

The Digital Certificate can be revoked if:

  • Subscribers suspect compromise of certificate private key
  • Change of personal data
  • Change of relationship with organization

There are two types of certificate revocation:

  • Revoked Request by Certificate owner

    User can request to the Registration Authority or authorized person from Yatanarpon CA for certificate revocation under some circumstances such as:

    • Key Compromise
    • Change the personnel information filled in the application form
    • The validity period of the certification is expired
 
  • Revoked by Registration Authority or Yatanarpon CA

    The RA or Yatanarpon CA can revoke the certificate under following circum stances such as:

    • The RA has reason to believe that a material fact in the certification application false
    • The attested documents are not true
    • The continued use of that certificate is harmful to the VTN
